One of the most common searches for "Maltby" is in conjunction with the Maltby Cemetery - a purportedly haunted cemetery. The Maltby Cemetery was renamed to be the Paradise Valley Cemetery. It's not actually located in what many would consider Maltby at this point and it's on private property.
Let me request that if you are seeking this cemetery to "check out" the hauntings, please don't. There are great ghost tales associated with it but there has been a great deal of destruction done by those seeking a thrill to the 35 or so graves that are in this small cemetery. People have tried to dig up the 13 steps to Hell purported to be there but all that has happened is destruction.
Please leave the graves and the current caretakers who are trying to do a respectful job of taking care of both the cemetery and their own home alone.
